I'd like to read a book that's a melange of platitudes. Should I choose something on Oprah's Book Club list?

EDIT: OK, I suppose I should have actually LOOKED at Oprah's official Book Club list prior to posting this question. I assumed it included a lot of those New Age bullshit authors she has promoted in the past, like Gary Zukav, Deepak Chopra, etc. I've gotta say, I really love a huge number of the classic titles she has on that list.... So much for my attempt at humor...
