If I hide someone from news feed on facebook would it also hide them from online list?

What all does it hide...do i see their comments in response to other's who are on my list? or at all or what?

1. If you hide there feeds thats all that is hidden :) You can still communicate in every other way over Facebook.
2. No, You're just hiding the feed, Not the person.
3. No, to hide/block someone from the online list (chat), you can click on Friend lists, make a new list, drag the person into that list, and click 'Go offline'. Keep in mind you can only drag the person to that list when they are actually online. If you hide them from your news feed it is only hiding it from that.
