Is it true that a woman crossing her legs can be interpeted as a signal of interest in a guy?

When I looked up articles about finding out whether women are attracted to you via body language, almost each article listed leg crossing as an indicator of attraction. 1. Well, in my case, I would say no. I cross my legs all the time simply because it is a comfortable sitting position for me. However, for other women it could be different. So I would say that is may be true, but it is not 100% reliable.
2. every single time i sit, i cross my legs. im alone in my office now and my legs are crossed and i don't even have a boyfriend haha. so im gonna have to say that most of the time , that is untrue because i know a lot of women who just cross their legs
