Will I get a tax rebate check if I'm listed as a dependent?

I know there are a lot of stipulations in reference to the tax refund checks that the government is hoping will spur the economy. 1. If you are a dependent you will not recieve a rebate check because you yourself cannot claim dependents on your refund. The rebate is for those who have qualifying dependents. Sorry!
2. No. The person who claimed you will get the money.
3. Dependents aren't eligible. Whatever article you read might not have mentioned it, but go to irs.gov and read about the rebate, and it will say that.
