i found my name in a news article that listed a lot of other people with$250-500.what does this mean?

Was it in a news article or a supplement to the newspaper? If it was the latter, then the Govt. (probably, the state) is holding some unclaimed money that is in your name. I've recorvered funds twice this way. On the other hand, if there is a warrant for your arrest, it could be a sting....good luck!!!
