what do you think?? advice please! :)?

Ok basically there this guys i REALLY like, its being going on for ages, about a year!? but we've got a lot closer and talk quite a bit, I was like 90% sure he liked me aswell, he complimented me a lot, and I heard him say to people he liked me, his friends suddenly started talking to me, and I know it sounds stupid but its like we have a "connection" we fitted so well together. So it gets towards the end of term nothings happened, through exams we didnt talk so much, but i caught him looking at me during an exam and he said hi to me a couple of times...so im thinking ok ...prom night i've gotta make a move.. during that time he writes something on facebook about 'shes moved on :( ' as far as I knew he hadn't got/ had a girlfriend for as long as I'd liked him...so he keeps writing all these depressing statuses :S and then suddenly he writes one, 'cant be bothered with you no more so f*** you' I know he'd had a big fight with some of his friends, but could he be talking about me? he deletes the other status about 'shes moved on' at the same time as he writes the other one? I spoke to my friend about it and she said she'd heard rumours he'd been out with this other girl but ages ago, i have her as a friend on facebook and I remember he did aswell, but shes not on his friends list anymore.. prom night..was amazing and awful all at the same time, he completely blanks me for most of the night, I see him talking to loads of girls, whispering in there ears, he says hi once and talks to me a bit, he says proms crap theres nohing to do, and i say he should dance and then literally 5 seconds later he starts dancing with my best mate!? making a move on her, and asking for her number, he dances with another of my friends aswell, and quite a few other girls! Now im thinking I probably should have talked to him more but the way he was acting!? I'm worried he thinks I don't like him because I didn't talk to him, and through exams as well but there just weren't any good opportunities he's always with his mates which is just itimidating because im shy! So guys help me please!!! :S im so confused!! whats your interpretations?

1. sounds like a loser. A guy who can't be happy for himself wouldn't make your relationship a delight one.
2. there coudl be another girl, or maybe youve done something you cant remba i think you should tell him what youve written tell him how you feel easier said then done but you'll find out he might like you and tried getting back at you for hurting him by doing what he dd but guys are complicatedd just follow your guts do you really want him ??? :S

4. This guy is not worth your time. Depending on your age, Im guessing high school, somewhere in there. Either way, if he is saying things on Facebook and showing you up at prom, he is trying to A) Play a game of 'Hard to Get' or B) He is trying to get you angry or confused. Forget him, and as soon as he realizes you've quit his game, he just might come back running for you. ; ) Good luck! -Miss. Justin Bieber
