How pathetic is it that liberals don't know that the Top 3% of small businesses create 50% of all jobs?

And, the remaining 97% create another 20% of all jobs. Yet, Hussein Obama wants to raise taxes on the so-called "rich" which include those Top 3% of businesses. What's more, this moron is imposing an arbitrary $250,000 figure as the benchmark for "rich," as if $250,000 in New York City is equivalent to $250,000 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Has this asshat ever heard of a cost-of-living index? A subchapter S corporation, or small C corp, making $250,000 in New York City, is not "rich." This is what happens when you elect an inexperienced token as leader of the free world. Once again, Bongboy needs to lay off the bong. Small businesses are typically defined as those employing less than 1,000 employees. Teabagger, Hey, idiot, we were near full employment during the Bush administration. The average unemployment rate was 5.2% for 8 years. Get a basic education, kid. Ashley Cob Bollum, Enroll in third-grade math. Both the mean and median unemployment rate during the Bush administration was 5.2%. And, it was 5.2% during the Republican Congress from 1995-2007, and only went up when Democrats took control. That's because markets (job, stock etc.) discount the future. Get a basic education, son. Ashley

  1. Um...i guess very pathetic is the answer ur looking for? =P
  2. No. They don't. It is economics 101. Without demand for goods from a well to do middle class (the largest group of US population) there are no jobs created. This isn't rocket science btw. Bush promised that his tax cuts would create jobs, but they didn't. A conservative-dominated Congress enacted two sets of Bush tax cuts, in 2001 and 2003. Job creation was a major Bush selling point, especially in 2003, when the administration asserted that the tax cuts would create 5.5 million jobs from July 2003 through the end of 2004. Instead, only 2.4 million jobs were added during that period—1.7 million fewer jobs than the economy was expected to produce without any tax cuts. [Center for American Progress] Today, the impact of the Bush tax program is clear: 8.5 million Americans are unemployed—2.5 million more than when Bush took office.
  3. Pssst, the top 3% percent make jobs out of the country. Ashley your unemployment average under W does little to illustrate that he nearly doubled it during his term, stop being dishonest. Ashley the comment up top sums up my regard to the law of averages, and I'll put my intelligence up against what you call intelligence any day.
  4. This question is pathetic because you stretch the truth, according to the Small Business Administration. Many visitors from abroad are surprised to learn that even today, the U.S. economy is by no means dominated by giant corporations. Fully 99 percent of all independent enterprises in the country employ fewer than 500 people. These small enterprises account for 52 percent of all U.S. workers, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Some 19.6 million Americans work for companies employing fewer than 20 workers, 18.4 million work for firms employing between 20 and 99 workers, and 14.6 million work for firms with 100 to 499 workers. By contrast, 47.7 million Americans work for firms with 500 or more employees. Notice the 52%? FAIL
  5. The 50 wealthiest members of Congress saw their collective fortunes increase by 85.1 million dollars to $1.4 billion in 2009. Both democrats and republicans..... Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) tops the list for the second year in a row. His minimum net worth was $188.6 million at the end of 2009, up by more than $20 million from 2008, according to his financial disclosure form. Twenty-seven Democrats along with 23 Republicans make up the 50 richest in Congress; 30 House members and 20 senators are on the list.
  6. I'll gladly trade paychecks with you. I'd never complain about higher taxes if I was making 250,000 a year. I'll even move to New York!
  7. Your numbers don't add up, the definition of small business wouldn't include any companies that hire 50% of all hireable people. The US government is the single largest employer, followed by Walmart.
  8. CORRECT 100 points! liberals aren't bad people, they are just misguided in their way of thinking that if it looks good on paper why doesn't it work in real life??? liberals live in the world of paper. they have plenty of theories as to how big business and the economy should work. ''it looks good on paper'' is probably said billions of times in economics classes. but in the real world it just doesn't work. but they keep trying and trying their theories. i wonder when they will ever learn that they are hurting america instaed of helping america. i guess never:-(
  9. why do conservatives always say "this is pathetic that you don't know this" every time they find a tiny factoid that they think is important that no one really knows? do you really think most conservatives know that? seriously? HINT: they don't... so, maybe basically EVERYONE is pathetic? but I think most people would actually agree that you're pretty pathetic by your sad standards of "intelligent" it would also be nice if you cited your claim... so we could all learn instead of just taking the word of some random person with a comically inflated ego... EDIT: I did a little looking around... apparently the amount of job creation of a certain sector depends on the current economic conditions... and your stat is not correct all the time, maybe it is now, this year... mainly due to big business layoffs, but it's not a constant... so, it changes... so, it's not that crazy that liberals don't know a fact that changes... you listened to the radio for five minutes and retained one fact... clearly you have an IQ of 4,000... and everyone who wasn't listening... is mildly retarded... does that make you feel better?
  10. I know that but I also know that most of them do not do squat, and that most of them are self employed doctors, dentist and lawyers with a Individuel practice that are not going to hire more people no matter what their tax rate. Giving big tax breaks to business that expand or add to their work force is much for cost effective way to encourage job creation that giving a little one to all.
  11. Liberals are just now figuring out that Obama is an idiot. Obama tought that there are 54 states in the U.S. and that there are 300,000 citizens. Do we really expect a lamebrain like him to run a budget and a health program. Looks like Hillary is finally coming around?
