Will businesses have to provide health insurance for their worker?
I know that a lot of employers, with more than 50 employees avoid paying into health insurance for their workers by deliberately having their worker work part time. One such example is Walmart. Many Walmart workers get no helath insurance, and a paltry pay on top of that. Will the new health care bill force these large companies to provide or pay into employee health insurance?

- We;ll have to see what's left of the bill after the reconciliation process is complete. We still have to see what will be pulled out and added in.
- Depends how much is cut in the senate, as of now though yes, or they pay a fine and the government decides what treatment you get.
- most likely because of OBAMA BILLS

- This is the provision in the White House/Congressional Leadership Reconciliation Bill Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4872) that you would be interested in: (Effective January 1, 2014) Require employers with more than 200 employees to automatically enroll employees into health insurance plans offered by the employer. Employees may opt out of coverage. It's complicated - The bill requires employers that offer coverage to their employees to provide a free choice voucher to employees with incomes less than 400% FPL whose share of the premium exceeds 8% but is less than 9.8% of their income and who choose to enroll in a plan in the Exchange. The voucher amount is equal to what the employer would have paid to provide coverage to the employee under the employer’s plan and will be used to offset the premium costs for the plan in which the employee is enrolled. Employers providing free choice vouchers will not be subject to penalties for employees that receive premium credits in the Exchange. Whew!!!
