Why are top ten lists hardly ever in alphabetical order?

1. because they are usually in numerical order
2. Isn't that a little OCD???
3. Because they are in the order of popularity, relevance, etc. The top 1 is the #1 and came in first. Maybe it got more votes like if it were top ten songs. It is in a certain order on purpose.
