OK, so what's going on with reserve lists?

I've applied for child nursing at Queens University Belfast, + a few weeks ago was placed on the reserve list. I have to go to Queens tomorrow to show them my results, + see if I've got a place. They're looking for CCC and I've got CCD + a distinction in a BTEC National Award (Health/Social Care). Anyone know how the reserve list works and what's the chances of the reserve list being used in child nursing?

  1. Child nursing is the most popular branch so it's the hardest to get a place on. With applications for nursing as high as they are at the moment the uni's can afford to be strict with grades. As you don't have the exact grades they asked for then really you're just going to have to wait & see. If there are others on the list who do have the grades then chances are they will be given a place ahead of you. If they haven't filled all their places then you stand as good a chance as any. Good luck. :0)
