- The NME.com 'Greatest Album Of All Time' is Definitely Maybe by Oasis, and I would agree with that. It's the album which broke from the norm and set the trend for the 90s. Contains tracks which are now widely regarded as anthems... 'Live Forever' and 'Supersonic' being the most prominent. DEFINITELY a "must-have" album.

- Totally personal and not weighted by popular opinion. 1) Rumours - Fleetwood Mac 2) The Best of Bread - Bread 3) Wish you were here - Pink Floyd 4) The Works - Queen 5) Made in Japan - Deep Purple 6) Voulez Vous - Abba 7) Older - George Michael 8) Out of the Blue - ELO 9) Sing when your winning - Robbie Williams 10) Moviola - John Barry You might think my choice of John Barry at #10 somewhat strange, but if I were to tell you it is music from films such as "Out of Africa", "Born Free", "Dances with Wolves", "Chaplin", "Midnight Cowboy" and "The cotton Club" to name but a few, you might understand why his music is in my top ten. I did say it was personal. (By the way, I can't stand Thriller).

- Wow... this will be hard. Let's see... In no particular order... 1) Minutemen's Double Nickels on the Dime. A punk classic. They matured enough to not sound like any other punk band (well, their older stuff was a lot different than other CA punk bands at the time) and had the right mix of funk thrown in for fun. Still can't get enough. 2) Sly and the Family Stone Antholgy. They were before my time, so I don't know specific albums. Their music has to be some of the greatest. They have soul like Jesus himself, and enough funk to fill two Bootsy Collins. And a great positive message. 3) Hard question. I'm stuck already. Poppin' over to launch.yahoo.com to jar my memory. OK- Violent Femmes debut album was great. They still play many songs off this album today. Fun, energetic, great bass player. 4) Jane's Addiction's Nothing Shocking. This was their best in my opinion. Solid songs, great bass lines, strong vocals, every emotional. Mountain Song- man I can still rock to them. 5) Fishbone's Truth or Soul. Hands down funk/punk favorite. Great soul. Love the cover Freddy's Dead. I don't know the original band that did that, but love this version. 6) Bad Brains' Rock for Light. Period. 7) Wasted Youth's Black Daze. The best crossover ablbum. 8) Hot Hot Heat's Elevator. I think this cd will be recognized for many years to come. Great vocals, moving rhythms. High energy, love it. 9) Nirvana's Nervermind. Their melodies will never go out of style. 10) Metallica's Ride the Lightning. Raw energy. Song construction like orchestral music. It was hard to decide between this and Master of Puppets, but I like the raw edge that this had, where Puppets was a bit too refined. For Whom the Bell Tolls. Fade to Black. Creeping Death. Great stuff!
