address book stolen while using hotel internet?

while staying at a hotel, recently, i opted to use their unsecure internet service, to check my email. needless to say someone hacked my address list and is now sending spam via my address. i have run a scan of my system for problems and it shows none. what should i do now to correct the problem so that i can eliminate the problem?

1. There's not much you can do. Unless all your recipients change their email addresses, the spammer will continue to spam them. He has the list, he's using it on his computer and the law isn't stiff enough to put him in prison for unauthorized access to your computer (which *is* a crime, but try to get any agency to enforce it).
