Why was THE BOOK Schindler's List Banned?

I'm doing a project for english where we have to read a banned book. I need 2 websites and 2 databased websites. But I can only seem to find websites talking about the MOVIE schindler's list. Do you know of any websites, or information yourself about the banning of schindler's list?

1. I've not heard of the book being banned anywhere. I suspect that your easiest response to that is to select another title. Since teeny-tiny school districts and libraries can ban books (impacting very few people), some really terrific reads have surely been banned somewhere.
