3. I like your list and Bush had no failures in his administration. Bush was a great president and protected our country for 8 years.
4. Bush took 8 years for what he did bad. Obama blew him away making it worse in just 19 months.
5. George Bush did one major thing wrong that matters the most. He started a war based on false information. He may or may not have known it was false because that is up for debate. I know that when people try to defend him they say the congress approved it. The congress did something very stupid, Democrats and Republicans, they believe the spoon feed information that the Bush administration gave them and they gave up their authority to declare war to George Bush and that is what he did. Forced Bank of America to acquire Merrill Lynch. Forced Banks to take TARP money to hide which ones were in trouble. Bush created the new entitlement program the Medicare drug benefit. George Bush also had his cronies in the Justice Department write memos granting legal approval to ignore constitutional rights, including First Amendment freedoms of speech and the press and Fourth Amendment requirements for search warrants. Bush cut taxes while increasing spending by 24% while this country was fighting a war. Under his administration 500 Gitmo detainees were released many without any trial. He ignored the war in Afghanistan to the point we lost control. He ignored this past recession for an entire year until it was out of control. Tripled the deficit. In 2007 Bush remove North Korea from the list of state sponsors of terrorism and gave them 900,000 tons of heavy-fuel oil to stop their nuclear program. As you can see that did not work. He sent men and women into combat undermanned and under equipped and filmed a joke about searching for weapons of mass destruction while he had men in the field dying and being injured while searching for weapons of mass destruction. 6. The biggest failure of the Bush administration was to protect the country from threats foreign and domestic. Debt debt to GDP ratio is 95%? You need math son, get some.
7. I am assuming that you are referring to George W. Bush. In that case... Greatly increased the federal debt War in Iraq Patriot Act Slow response to Katrina (could be argued that it wasn't his fault)

9. Started one illegal war and started another that couldn't be won considering the history of Afghanistan. -Subset: Using military contractors is expensive and increased deficit. Set in place polarization that started the ballooning deficit. Equated those who didn't agree with his policies as terrorists (2001 State of the Union). Had a Manichaean worldview that enabled fundamentalists to have enormous sway nationally. Put in place tax cuts without cutting spending. Had the chance to capture OBL in Tora Bora but didn't. Actively suppressed having a report evaluating 9/11; result is the 9/11 Commission Report started 2 years after 9/11. The Warren Commission was started a week after the assassination of JFK. Instead of encouraging Americans to do something productive after 9/11, instead encouraged unsustainable spending. A huge amount of domestic Islamist attacks, including the largest terror attack ever committed. Created the largest bureaucracy the US has ever seen, the DHS. Appointed an idiot as FEMA director and Katrina occurred. Clinton appointed an experienced director to FEMA that managed the Red River floods nicely, and now he runs a successful risk assessment firm, so it's not impossible. Also was warned about levees failing and didn't care. Started a huge centralization of power in the executive by issuing XOs that gave the president enormous discretion. Obama is continuing those policies. Perverted the DoJ. Etc. I have a list of failures as governor, and you probably would be interested in it since you appear to be a Houston resident, but won't since you asked presidentially and not as governor.
