Reliable ways of making money online?

With reasonable effort and work, is it possible? I'm not talking about thousands, but a small income on the side on top of an actual job. Is there any effective, remotely reliable way of achieving it without investing into an online business, or having faith in a more-than-a little-dodgey money scheme? Any success stories?

1. Here's this website that I used, it's for writing articles and you get paid depending on how many people read them! It's really easy to use (but you don't get alot of money XD I get like, 8 dollars a month, but I don't do anything on it so I guess it evens out :D) The money gets paid to you through Paypal
2. There's a few reliable survey sites around that will pay you cash or vouchers if you answer enough surveys / sponsored polls / write reviews. However you usually have to do a bit / or more of to get even a small sum. Depends in which country you are in. I personally usually get 15 GBP of vouchers from www.toluna.com (international) each month for about 20-45 minutes per day answering sponsored polls and surveys, however they are slow at paying vouchers. If you are in the UK then www.consumerpulse.co.uk will give you points to exchange for vouchers and I usually get a 10 GBP voucher from them each month for recording purchases that takes a few minutes once a week. If anyone points you to a site with an affliliate ID (often 'affid' or a number after the name) then they will get points / cash for you signing up. It is up to you whether you use their ID or delete from signup.

I used it and made about $100 a month and only spent about 3-4 hours a week. But I know a lot of people who put in about 6 hours a day and would make $1,000 a month. I am myself working from home for a legit company that has a great compensation plan, offers multiple ways to make money and which is growing internationally.
