When you create a list on facebook, does it send notifications to people you add?

On the section where it says edit friends, I created a list to help with privacy control. When I add people to that list, does it send them notification or post onto the community wall. I know when you create a "group" it does notify the person but I was hoping the list feature was private. Is it true that only things that go on community wall are the same things you allow on your personal wall.

1. No. Facebook lists are only for your use, and nobody can know if you put them in 1 or more groups, unless you tell them. Trust me, I've been using lists for a while, and one of my lists is called: "Annoying", another "Not Interesting". I see those people every day, and they have no idea :)
