need marketing help for new business- unsure about next move?!?

From the good old marketing people out there....I need some advice! First, please check out my website www.bridalblissinc.com Next....I do not have a LOT of money. So I'm trying to figure out my next move. Here are my choices: -I have one sample wedding gown to show brides to be- from my wholesale company I am being offered very low sample gowns prices, $50 for each gown. -Send out marketing postcards from a bought general consumer list of 100 people- $50 total for post cards, the mailing list, and the company sending them out to the purchased mailiing list (this way I do not have to even worry about it since they print them and mail them) The postcard has an incentive to show the clients my invitation samples and dress sample(s) and a free consult. -create a promo box with several pictures, and samples of a few items -or do a little of everything? HELP! Please also suggest any improvements I could make to my website! -any other marekting strategies? I would greatly appreciate your help! Best advice=easy 10 points for good suggestions! WOW thank you guys SO much! This is my first time ever building a website from the ground up and that makes me feel really, really good that you think it looks nice! I just checked out my website on my laptop and the bigger font looks 'squished' and gigantic....I have a wide screen desktop and it does not appear that way WS, so I may have to call the company. Did it look that way to you? I do plan on subscribing to a youtube channel and sharing my knowledge, also DIY items. I am not quite sure how to quickly 'show how I am different' quickly to catch their attention, but I would definately like to!!! I'm trying, I just feel so stuck!

  1. First of all let me start by saying; I love what your doing. I appreciate that you are offering an "a la cart" approach to wedding planning. My first suggestion would be to make that your primary focus on your website. There are a MILLION wedding consultants, and wedding planners. You need to stand out, you need to make a QUICK first impression ( maybe within the first 5 seconds ) so that people don't have to dig, or look around your site to figure out what makes you different. Tip #2 You say that you can save people money, So I would start a video blog series on quick ways brides can save money. Establish your reputation that you have an unlimited amount of insight on the money saving tips bride's need to survive the wedding planning process! Don't worry about giving away your secrets, because you will always be able to come up with new ideas, the economy and market is CONSTANTLY changing, so you will constantly be able to come up with cutting edge tips that can save people money. After all, the more relationships you build with vendors, the more money you will be able to save bride's... and since they don't have relationships with your vendors they can't access that discount any way. All right, Good luck, I hope these tips help out a little, either way, Cheers to you, and your business. -These Marketing Tips were Brought to you by: Bryant Jaquez Genius Business Marketing Company, Redding California www.geniusbusiness.com
