Why do I keep reading words wrong?

Okay this is very strange. But lately I have been reading certain words wrong. Like I'll be reading something and completely change the word in my head and think its right. For example this whole time (a week) my model page lists my genres. And the last one is "Underwater" before tonight I thought it said "Underwear". I know the words are somewhat similar but is there something wrong with me? I Have been doing it a lot, even at school. Could it be my eyes? Should glasses/contacts be worn? Is this a common problem!!?? Please help me.

1. it could be that the print is too small for your eyes or that you were tired when you read (this happens to me sometimes) or a medical condition called dyslexia where the person is trying to read and the letters in the words become jumbled and disordered. But dyslexia usually causes reading problems throughout as person's life and not suddenly like you so its most likely the first two things...check with a doctor and optometrist Hope i helped and don't worry
