What is up with a child in her home, wearing only her pj top and so what she was just punished?

Answer this? I went to my Brothers house last night where he had a couple over visiting. My niece figured that Daddy was distracted and was a bad girl. She was in her pajamas at the time when Daddy took her to her room for a spanking over his lap. (I know that my brother sits down when he spanked Lisa) Lisa then came out afterwards in just her pajamas top and underpants to visit and play. The couple seemed to be bother by a 7 year old being dressed this way and more so that she got her pajama bottoms removed for the spanking. I think it is none of their business how my brother spanks? I also can see why anyone would object to a little girl in her own home wearing just her pajama top.

1. First of all, if there are guests over, I don't know why they would let the little girl run around in her underwear. It's not really appropriate with random people over. And secondly, they can still have their opinion on the matter. You said they *seemed* to be bothered by it... did they actually say anything? If not, they weren't even doing anything to offend you.
2. The father might have been more apt to have the girl get dressed before she came out of the room since friends were over. The girl doesn't seem to care. I would have left my daughter in her room after the spanking and called it a night for her rather than allowing her to come back and be social.
