Domain and Range or list of the ordered pairs?
Which tells you more about a relation, a list of the ordered pairs in the relation or the domain and range of the relation? THANKS!

- they are the same thing.....
- i would say its the ordered pairs
- It depends on how long the list of ordered pairs is...
- The Domain of a function is all the x values for which that function is defined or exists. The Range is all of the y values for which that function exists. The domain and range will be given as an interval. Within the intervals, you will be provided with all of the x and y values you will find in the ordered pairs. However, as domain and range, they will not be paired up as points. The ordered pairs give you the associative y value for each x value. Meaning, each point on the function will be listed as a pair (x,y) and given as points on the graph. Since a relation involves the "relationship" between x and y, you may benefit from the list of ordered pairs versus the domain and range intervals. It depends on what you want to study about the function. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
