  1. Brazil, Spain and Holland would still be up there as they always produce players of talent in abundance. But also Uruguay could be up there, as they only have a population of around 4 million, but their team played their way to a World Cup semi final, and they have players like Forlan, Perreira and Suarez. Also Montenegro. This is a tiny country that has produced some great players; Vucinic, Jovetevic, Jovetic etc.
  2. Believe it or not you should check out Suriname? Where. Exactly! Over time, Suriname has produced a lot of footballers who chose to play for Netherlands, the former colonial rulers, including Edgar Davids, Clarence Seedorf, Aron Winter, Romeo Castelen and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. Players of Surinamese heritage such as Frank Rijkaard, Ruud Gullit and Patrick Kluivert, who were born in the Netherlands, could have played for Suriname, but chose not to do so.
