Why do Top Republicans lie to their working class republicans and say President Obama raised their taxes?

America has paid lower taxes under President Obama than they have in over 60 years? For the 3rd straight year in of office, American's have paid the lowest taxes in over 60 years, some are calling President Obama, the low tax president. If you only watch Fox News, you probably havent heard that. But why do Republican lie and say President Obama has been raising taxes since he stepped in the White House? Taxes are at HISTORIC LOWS, yeah republicans, fox news and the tea party are crying yelling and marching saying how Obama has taxed them to death. Think before you post .....if the Bush Tax cuts and republicans were doing the job then why weren't taxes at an all time low in 60 years in any of the years under Bush? 2. You must be a child. Each and every one of us just filled out our taxes and know to the penny how much we paid. We don't need a hyped up extreme liberal site such as the lame Daily KOS to tell us how much we paid. We know without a doubt. I suspect you have no clue that each American has to look at the IRS tax table schedule to figure their taxes. It's available of all past years as well. Anyway, where in the heck did you get that Fox or anyone else is saying Obama raised our taxes? If you watch the news it was very clear, the Democrats and Obama didn't want to extend the Bush tax cuts. Only when they lost their butts in congress and the Republicans took over the House did they know they should vote to extend the tax cuts. In fact this was one of the reasons the Democrats lost control of congress... because they were not going to extend the Bush tax cuts. It was well known and anyone that even slightly has an interest was following this for some time. You are simply a fool that must follow political hype instead of think for yourself, hence, you believe others think the same way as you. When you compare how they idolised Bush and the republicans, and were implicit in spreading the WMD lies in order that Iraq was invaded, then one can see exactly where the US media stands politically. Can you remember how the media was full of diagrams of trucks, showing the nerve gas production systems in clear detail. Where are these trucks ? Did Saddam Hussein bury them ? The tea party movement ammounts to a witch hunt. Look at how they are acting, like spoiled children that cannot get their own way. These right wing extremists were outraged that a black man gained the highest office in the US. The racism still exists, albeit discrete and hidden, behind the new tag of liberalism.
