help with my yahoo email being sent to my contacts by another site that did not give permission nor did I visi?

  1. This is spam. Your address book got hacked. What you need to do first is change your password immediately. Then, send out an email to apologize to all your contacts. Tell them you have fixed the problem.
  2. First of all, change your email password. You could have visited any number of sites and infected your computer with adware, or this may be some phishing attempt. Second of all, please realize that you just posted your personal email along with other people in your contacts on the internet. And lastly a quick internet search reveals your personal facebook page with little to no privacy settings. Not a great idea, especially since you have posted your email on Yahoo! Ask
