Where should my turtles go?

I have 3 box turtles and I cant have them anymore and I tried asking my Facebook friends and not sure about crags list bc I'm only 14 and if I dnt get rid of them soon , my parents said I have to let them go in the wild .....:/ what should I do? I didn't get them as baby's and I feel like they can survive in the wild but, I feel guilt?

1. Go first to http:/anapsid.org to find your local herp society. One of the members would probably like to have your turtles. The second choice is a rescue, like petfinder. Third choice is to ask your vet for permission to post a notice on the office bulletin board. Fourth choice is to contact a pet shop and explain your situation. They might buy them or adopt them out to their customers. I would be hesitant to go to a fifth choice. Releasing them in the wild is a no-no and is very likely illegal everywhere in the USA.
