I quit my job to work from home and get our new home organized. My to do list is so long I'm paralyzed! HELP!?
I have a wedding to plan for August, a real estate career to get off the ground, a fitness regime to begin, a final real estate course to study for a house that needs cleaning, decorating and mending from top to bottom. Plus daily things like cooking and cleaning... this is all new to me. First home, first time with a truely "open" schedule... I don't know where to begin :( All this opportunity and I can't get started... feeling like a failure... advice welcome. I've always been a working girl, kicking butt at my job, but now without a real "job" and a tonne of things on my chore list I just don't know where to begin. I had cleaning ladies my whole life... and nannies... I just don't know how to do this stuff!!! But I want to learn!!

- Get connected with http://www.flylady.net This is a site that offers friendly support and a lot of practical help with household organization. They're quite sympathetic with the "can't even see how to get started" syndrome. One thing they suggest – it may sound dumb but it does work – is to start very small by cleaning up your kitchen sink. Once that stained, loaded-up area is cleared and spotless, you see that you've accomplished something, and your mind is ready to figure out the next steps. From time to time people write in to the site, telling how they've used FlyLady's methods. These testimonials are fun to read – you realize that you're not alone out there. As for your wedding – most of the bride's magazines publish check lists of what needs to be done and when. One young woman I know organized her wedding using a PERT chart. Get an early start and keep track of things, and you won't be in danger of turning into a crazy Bridezilla.
- Then you should know the word prioritise? Also, there's delegation and time management. List the most important stuff needing done on a daily basis and do it. Create a wedding list of things to be arranged and work through it. Time yourself for each chore. Your fitness regime will come through hard work around the house. Get up early and have a break mid morning/afternoon and lunch. Pretend your still at work - no slacking. good luck
- I think that you need to stop stressing over all of the things that you have planned and work on one at a time until you have each one managed. Until you can do that you will be stuck. I just happened to be a nanny and housekeeper but these are your belongings and you have the advantage of knowing what should be saved or put in 'FILE 13' (The trash can) over a hired worker. Unlike a lot of people you have your future planned well. So take a chill pill, don't try to do everything like yesterday, stop often for breaks, keep focused and good luck in your endeavors. If you let yourself have some fun on the way, you will. Besides....you may find something of such value that it was so worth cleaning up.
- You need to buy the right products that will do the job easier and safer. This will help with time and keep your house safe from toxins, etc. We use Melaleuca.
- Whenever this question comes up I tell people the same thing: get a storage unit. The biggest thing keeping you from getting your house organized is probably all the junk you aren't using. The less you have to organize, the easier it'll be, so take it room by room and start sorting through everything. Separate everything into three piles: stuff you can throw out, stuff you can donate, and stuff you want to put into storage. Once you're house is less cluttered you'll feel a lot better. (Btw, definitely go for a climate controlled storage unit, so you won't have to worry about the weather or anything.)
- Forget anything that sounds too good to be true, I think the surveys etc are a waste of time. If you want to make money then make use of your talents and passions and set up a blog. Monetize the blog with google adsense and affiliate links and maybe sell an ebook you have written.
- If you're looking to work from home network marketing is a good way to do it, but, it's not "fast money" either. If you stick with it and have a good marketing system in place, one that doesn't rely on family and friends, one with good coaching and mentoring in place, it really helps your chances for success. If they ask for money you'll know it's a scam
- work from home open 4 all ppl 40$ in couple days http://www.earnparttimejobs.com/index.php?id=3190246
- Anytime you are looking for work from home jobs online, don't type "work from home" because youl,l.. end up with a whole bunch of scam sites that require you to pay money. Try typing virtual assistant jobs or online customer service jobs (something of that nature
- Best of luck! http://obuyo.info/72773/cleaning-%26-decorating Gooooood luck (:
