Do you agree with this top 10 scariest movies of all time list?
Do you agree with this top 10 scariest movie list? I didn't make the list up. I went around the internet looking for top 10 lists and I took the average and made a list out of the average of what most people think the top 10 are, and I gave each movie points based on how many times ive seen them in the top 10 and how high they were.. I came up with this: 1. The Shining (1980) (24 points) 2. The Exorcist (1973) (19 points) 3. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) (17 points) 4. Psycho (1960) (16 points) 5. Alien (1979) (14 points) 6. The Evil Dead (1981) (12 points) 7. Halloween (1979) (9 points) 8. Jaws (1975) (7 points) 9. Rosemary's Baby (1968) (4 points) 10. Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) (3 points) Agree ? Disagree ? Anything you would change? any movies you would add or get rid of??

- Jaw's Should Be No.1 And The Shining Should Not Be On There! The Shining Was Dumb And Not Even Scary! The Story Line To Shining Is What Made It A Good Movie, But Not Scary. I Would Put The Human Centipede At No.8 Although It Was Totally Discusting And Horrorfying At The Same.
- I love the classics....but SAW should be number one....that movie was messed up!
- You forgot deliverance.
- disagree. The scariest movies are the ones based on true events.
- No,i did not agree with you.
- A lot o f people would disagree- but I like the Texas Chainsaw remake better I also like the Amityville Horror remake ( and I was born in the early 70's) Nightmare on Elm Street is Funny- but the 1,2 song is creepy I like Wrong Turn because movies about getting lost or running out of gas in the middle of nowhere would freak me out.
- I AGREE but the shining is most definitely NOT the scariest. the Exorcist is. i can watch The Shining without losing control of my bowels...
