- Bight Me: A Love Story Its one of the best sellers, I hear it's really good. I forgot the authors name sorry.
- You should totally read Tamora Pierce's books. They sound like just your style!
- Whither (author forgotten lol) Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray I had more ideas when I started my answer, but I blanked. Lol. Sorry.
- I would highly recommend *The Gormenghast Novels* [Peake] as well as Mary Stewart's *Merlin Trilogy*. They're all classics and great fantasy to boot.
- To be honest, I only know the Snyder books from your list, but I love fantasy and sci-fi too, and these are all brilliant: Diana Wynne Jones's entire opus, but especially Dark Lord of Derkholm and Year of the Griffin, which play with fantasy stereotypes. Garry Kilworth's The Knights of Liöfwende trilogy (Spiggot’s Quest, Mallmoc’s Castle, Boggart and Fen) - comic, epic fairyland Garth Nix's Sabriel trilogy (Sabriel, Lireal, Abhorsen) - necromancy, elementals, complex otherland Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series (The Eyre Affair, Lost in a Good Book, etc.) - the world of literature as never seen before Philip Reeve's Larklight series (Larklight, Starcross, Mothstorm) - Victorian steampunk in space Annalinde Matichei's The Flight of the Silver Vixen - all-girl alien space adventure Susan Price's The Sterkarm Handshake, A Sterkarm Kiss - time travel
- Try reading these books and series: I am Number Four (By Pittacus Lore) The Power of Six (Comes out in August) When the Mogadorians attacked Lorien, 9 young children and their guardians flee to Earth until it is safe enough to go back. But the Mogadorians are hunting them down, killing them in order of their numbers. John Smith is Number Four, living safely in Paradise, Ohio with Henri, his guardian. Or so he thinks. Follow Number Four in his adventures of getting his first powers, first girlfriend, first true friend, and his first encounter with the evil Mogadorians that went to earth to destroy him. The book is WAY better than the movie, and way diffrent! I gave it to my aunt to see what it was about, and she started reading it for over an hour in one sitting! It's awesome! Life as we Know it (Susan Pffefer) The Dead and the Gone This World we live in When a giant asteroid hits the moon, it knocks it out of orbit, causing food shortages, climate changes, and chaos on Earth. Beastly (By Alex Flinn) (More books by Alex Flinn) A kiss in Time Cloaked Each of these books are modern day fairy tales- Beauty and the Best, Sleeping Beauty, and The Frog Prince. The Uglies series (Scott Westerfeld) Uglies Pretties Specials Extras In Tally's world, when you turn pretty, you get a special operation that makes you super model gorges. But when Tally's new friend, Shay, runs away to escape the operation, Tally has a choice- find Shay and turn her in, or never turn pretty, ever. Gone series by Micheal Grant Gone Hunger Lies Plaque In the blink of an eye, everyone over the age of 15 disappears, and a giant dome covers the entire city of kids. They must fight to survive, struggling with bullies, lack of food, and a mysterious monster hidden in a cave. And kids are getting powers- super speed, telekinesis, fire, etc. They are growing stronger by day. soon, the kids are choosing sides and wars are breaking out. Only this is different from previous wars- this time, it's freaks vs non-freaks, and there are no adults to stop it. Hush Hush (Becca Fitztpatirick) When Nora Grey meets a mysterious boy named Patch, she immediately doesn't like him. But when dangerous, terrifying things begin to happen to her, she has no choice but to turn to him for help. But could he be something even worse than she is imagining? That's all I can think of right now, but all of those books are AMAZING and I hope you have the chance to read them! I highly recommend them! PS. Sorry the summaries are a little vague... I was in a hurry ;)

- Take a look at Bookstars.info. Lots of good books there, many free!
- Omg how is Laurell K Hamilton not on that list? She writes the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series, there is about 20 books in the series so far and more to come, it is without a doubt the single best series of that genre. She is a new york times best seller and the books have been my favorite for the last ten years. The first book is called Guilty Pleasures, its a bit slow because its basically setting up all the back story, but book number two is called The Laughing Corpse and its one of my faves from the whole set. Vampires, all types of shapeshifters, necromancers, zombies, succubus....and normal human badguys too. Anita is an animator which means she raises zombies for a living, mostly to do things like tesitfy in court or verify wills and stuff. She ends up dating both a master vampire and werewolf (and later, many many more men lol) anyway really check into this series, it is absolutely amazing. Personally I love Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews but LKH is above all of them. I highly highly highly sugjest reading them in order, even if book one is kind of slow, because a LOT of important stuff tends to happen in each book so if you skip around you will end up very confused. Again, top recommendation. Another good one is Kim Harrison, she writes the Hallows series, about runner (bounty hunter, body guard, etc) witch Rachael Morgan and her partners Ivy (living vampire) and Jenks (pixie) they are very good as well, deals with witches, vampires, demons, etc.Its another on going series, so theres like ten right now and more to come. Lastly is of course Charlaine Harris who writes the TrueBlood novels. They can be a little slow paced but they are very good, and if you watch the show, the books are similar but the show does not really stay true to a lot of the details. If your looking for shows to watch along these lines, I recommend TrueBlood even though it is very different from the books and absolutely recommend my favorite show Supernatural. Hope this helped
