Anyone moved to Canada from UK with experience to share?

We want to move to New Brunswick, Fredericton, but finding all the routes rather complicated. Unfortunately my husbands job is not on the wanted list (software developer) so we believe we will have to go via visa and work permit but nothing seems very clear, in the government information provided? Does anyone have any useful pointers for us please? thank you

1. how many points do you get on the Canadian immigration test? You need 67 points to qualify on the skill worker programme. We get 76 points but it is still way too hard to get into Canada, you cannot look for a job outside the country unless you have a sponsor in the Country, if you do they will kick you out immediately.
